Dr. Norman F. Johnson Dr. Norman F. Johnson passed away in Pasadena, California on Thursday, March 23, 2006. He was born in Somerton on August 30, 1924. He graduated from Yuma Union High School in 1942 and attended the University of Arizona until he was drafted into the Army. He served as a Medic in the 897th Artillery 75 Division. He was later accepted into the New York College of Medicine at Syracuse. In 1953 Dr. Johnson set up his practice of medicine in Sierra Madre, California where he saw patients for over 50 years. He retired in 2004. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Ann; children; five granddaughters; sister, Dorothy Beach, of Tucson; and brother, Milton, of Somerton. Memorials may be made to Dr. Johnson’s favorite charity, The Smile Train, Suite 2201, 245 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York, 10016. |
