| The Wickenburg Sun the week of October 13, 2004 Marie E. Ruiz, 55, passed away on Oct. 9, 2004 in Peoria, Ariz. She was born May 18, 1949 in Newark, N.J. She was a graduate of Agua Fria High School and spent 30 years of service in the State of Arizona government as administrative assistant. She is survived by husband Victor Ruiz of Congress, mother Thelma Barbour of Prescott, stepdaughter Tracy McDermott of Goodyear, son Jeffery A. Lenze of Phoenix, stepsons Wayne Ruiz of Phoenix and Jon Ruiz of Surprise, brothers William F. Barbour of Santa Clara, Calif., and Charles E. Barbour of Belmont, Calif., grandchildren Jacob, Spencer, Shannon and Sean. She is preceded in death by her father Algrove Barbour. Rosary will be held Thursday (Oct. 14) at 7 p.m. at Frey Funeral Home Chapel, with Father John Vogt officiating. Mass will be held Friday (Oct. 15) at 10 a.m. at Good Shepard of the Desert in Congress. Father Brian Bell, Father John Vogt and Father Jerome Janski are officiating. Donations can be made to Family Hospice Care, 9045 W. Athens St., Building One, Peoria, Ariz. Arrangements were made by Frey Funeral Home. |
