The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, July 06, 2009 John Yanak, born in Chechehov, Slovakia, died on June 24, 2009 at the age of 94. He leaves a loving family; wife, Catherine (Robin); as well as a sister, Helen Parsons; four children; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren of whom he was very proud. After a career as a psychologist in Philadelphia, Pa., he and Robin retired to Prescott in 1973 to travel extensively, do volunteer work, pursue hobbies and hike; living these last 10 years at Las Fuentes Retirement Resort. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate a donation to Hospice Family Care, 100 E. Sheldon, Suite #100, Prescott, AZ 86301. Information provided by survivors. |
