E'Vangelina L. Meeker Born in Phoenix, Arizona on Oct. 20, 1927. Departed on May 27, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. E'Vangelina Lauda Meeker, 75, of Cottonwood died May 27. She was born October 20, 1927 in Phoenix, Arizona. She resided in Flagstaff before moving to Cottonwood. She was a member of American Legion Auxillary and V.F.W. Auxillary, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Garden Club of Cottonwood. She leaves her children Henry Meeker of Phoenix, Dr. Edward and his wife Lindalee Meeker of Penn Valley, Mary Gorraiz and freind David Pirtle of Cottonwood, Vicki Meeker and husband Ray Cancino of Austin, Texas, and J. Franklin and wife Yolanda Meeker; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother Victor Gorraiz and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Anne Marie Gorraiz, husband Eddie Meeker, sons William and Paul Meeker. A Rosary will be held on Friday, May 30 in the Immaculate Conception Church, 700 N. Bill Grey Rd., Cottonwood at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass wil follow at 4 p.m. Westcott Funeral Home assited the family with these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
