| Lukeas Paul Ortega, 17, of Globe passed away on May 27, 2009 at his residence in Globe. He was born in Mesa on May 22, 1992, the son of Joseph Ray and Theresa Ortega. He worked as a waiter at La Casita Restaurant and attended Globe High School. Luke enjoyed being with family and friends, riding his dirt bike, being on the computer, and talking on his cell phone with his friends. Luke is survived by his father Joseph Ray Ortega of Globe; brothers, Jonathan Ortega of Riverside, Calif., and Jose R. Ortega of Globe; sister, Anissa McBride (Justin) of Henderson, NV. Luke was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Ortega. Visitation was held on Monday, June 1, at 10 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Globe. Rosary followed at 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church followed by interment at Globe Cemetery. Lamont Mortuary of Globe assisted the family.
