Born in Vilna, Poland on Dec. 25, 1911.
Departed on May 29, 2003 and resided in Sedona, Arizona.

Harry Levin, a long time resident of Sedona, Arizona passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2003.

He was born in Vilna, Poland on December 25, 1911 and moved to the united States when he was five years of age. After military service during World War II he and his wife Bertha, resided in Cleveland, Ohio, until their move to Phoenix where he owned and operated two grocery stores. He began retirement upon moving to Sedona, Arizona twenty eight years ago.

He dearly loved southwest living and so appreciated red rock views. He also thoroughly enjoyed gardening with roses as his specialty, cake baking and preparation of meat dishes, since his early days were spent as a butcher.

His wife Bertha, preceded him in death in 1999.

He is survived by three nieces, Rosalind Lippe, Columbus, Oh., Adele Rosenbaum, Chicago, Ill. and Rosalind Tolen of Cleveland, Oh., two nephews, Mark Levin, Philadelphia, Penn. and David Levine, Cleveland, Oh.

Funeral Services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood, Arizona on Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be on Friday, June 6th at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona.

It is suggested that in lieu of flowers any contributions be made to a favorite charity.
