Emilia Deserae Luna

Our special angel, Emilia Deserae Luna, passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 in Cedar City, Utah while on a vacation visiting family. We had just celebrated her 6th birthday.

Emilia was born on June 23, 2003 in Show Low, Arizona. Last month she completed kindergarten and was excited about being in the 1st grade next year. She most recently learned how to ride a horse. Her beautiful smile seemed to light up the room as she entered it. Constantly playing, she loved taking care of her mommy as well as her brothers and sister.

Emilia was very well loved and so special that God must have needed her more than we did. She will always be remembered and we will forever keep her in our hearts. We know that she is watching over all of us and is now resting with her grandpa Orlando.

She is survived her her mother, Amber Padilla (Gilbert Alvarez) of Holbrook, AZ; father, Adam Luna of Flagstaff, AZ; brothers, Orlando and Angelo Martinez, Fernando Luna; sisters, Adriana and Sierra Luna all of Holbrook, AZ; maternal grandmother, Patrice Isham of Beryl, UT; maternal great-grandmothers, Rita Padilla of Holbrook,AZ and Dixie Parker of Beryl, UT; paternal grandparents, Judy and Adam Luna of Holbrook, AZ; uncles, Duston Padilla and Ryan Gallegos both of Holbrook, AZ; cousin, Jesse Santibanez also of Holbrook, AZ as well as the extended Serna and Padilla families.
