Juanita Antionette Altamirano
Died: Wednesday, May 06, 2009

Juanita Antionette Altamirano peacefully left her home to enter heaven's gates on May 6, 2009. She was met by her parents Marcel & Estelle Burgard, brother Virgil and sister Betty.

Those mourning her loss include husband Robert, sons Dennis (Belinda) & Robert, Jr. (Jill), daughters Denise, Barbara & Linda (Dominic), six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and countless family & friends.

Born March 27, 1931, in El Toro, California, Juanita was a trained beautician. Her profession led her to her husband Robert and they ambitiously moved to Arizona in 1969 to begin a successful pool plastering operation in Glendale. While she expertly ran the business for many years, her greatest achievements were in the family she raised and the happiness she brought to so many.

Retirement brought her the greatest enjoyment as she continued to raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren full-time. When she wasn't holding a baby in her arms, she was traveling or spending time in a casino.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Juanita's honor to Hospice of the Valley or the American Cancer Society.
