Born in Cuba, Illinois on June 27, 1922
Departed on Mach. 5, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Richard Muir, 79, of Cottonwood and formerly of Winslow died March 5th. He was born in Cuba, Illinois on June 27, 1922.

Mr. Muir was a plumber for many years in Winslow. He was a member of the Winslow Lodge of Elks. He served in the Merchant Marines during World WarII.

He leaves two daughters, Cynthia Robinson-Thal and Sarah Jane Muir-Boudreau; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and his dog, Chuchi.

A graveside service was held on March 9th in the Winslow Cemetery.
