Arlene Rachael (Ortiz) Kline

Arlene Rachael Kline passed away May 14, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 77. She was born in Denver, CO on April 15, 1932 to Joseph and Martha (Barela) Ortiz.

Arlene married her best friend Robert Kline on March 17, 1969 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 8 years ago from Arvada, CO. She was the owner of Jo Ardon's Beauty Salon in Denver for 30 years. She was a member of Lakeview Community Church. Arlene was an avid outdoors person. She enjoyed playing golf and tennis and going waterskiing when the opportunity arose.

Arlene leaves behind her beloved husband of 40 years, Robert Kline of Lake Havasu; sons, Robert Jason Gorski of Lake Havasu and Kirk Saber of Solano Beach, CA; daughter, Renee Gorski of Denver, CO; brothers, Jerry Ortiz of Denver, CO and Don Ortiz of Lakewood, CO; sisters, Dolores Grissom, Joann Youngman and Eleanor Lucero, all of Denver, CO; one grandson, Lance Ortiz; one great granddaughter, Synja Serrano and one great-great granddaughter, Angali Serrano.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dennis Ortiz.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will take place at Lakeview Community Church on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor Dale Ray. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
