Helen Joyce Tye (November 2, 1948 - May 31, 2009) Helen Joyce Tye, 60, of Lakeside passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Summit Regional Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1948, at Alicia, Arkansas, the daughter of Homer and Emma Jean (Galespie) Fears. She was raised and attended school in Mesa. She was married to Frank Tye on August 31, 1964, in Phoenix. She was a lifelong homemaker, enjoyed fishing, watching movies and loved her grandchildren. She was a member of the White Mountain Christian Church. Survivors include her husband Frank; her mother, Emma Jean Fears of Jonesboro, Arkansas; a daughter, Marla Noble and husband Howard of Lakeside; a son, Keith Tye of Lakeside; two sisters, Linda Swann and Betty Harvey, both of Pocahantas, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Valarie Maxwell, Samantha Tye, Chandler Tye, Brian Noble and Wyatt Noble all of Lakeside. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Donnie and Earl. Viewing will be Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Black's Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Chapel of Black's Mortuary, with Pastor Rob Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery. (Obit from Black's Mortuary) See Also: Find A Grave |
