Departed on Oct. 18, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.


Robert C. Hopkins, 98, of Cornville died November 18. He was born Dcember 22, 1903 in Magnum, Oklahoma.

Mr. Hopkins was a retired optometrist. He also was a research and problem solver for Navy Optometry Operations in Heavy Equipment Manufacturing and also was a real estate developer for a utiity company, both during World War II. He also enjoyed painting, woodworking as a gem and mineral lover and built a rock house in Quartsite.

Mr. Hopkins leaves his wife, Kathy Hopkins of Quartsite; a sister, Alma Corley of Cornville and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held. Donations in his memory may be made to the Arizona Pioneers Home, 300 S. McCormick St., Prescott, Az., 86303.
