Marion 'Dee Dee' Margiasso, 72, a resident of Sedona, died December 4. She was born July 30, 1930 in Bronx, New York.

She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Sedona and was active on their St. Vincent de Paul Committee. She was a gourmet cook, sold art and worked as a hairstylist. She was an accomplished ballroom dancer on the competition level. She was an interior designer for family and friends and also did it professionally. Mrs. Margiasso had also worked for the Pelham Manor Police Department.

Mrs. Margiasso is survived by her husband of 50 years, Philip J. Margiasso and a son, Philip E. Margiasso of New York City.

She was preceded in death by another son, Gary Val Margiasso.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 13 in St. John Vianney Church at 12 noon.

The family asks that donations in her memory may be made to the St. John Vianney Church, 180 Soldier Pass Road, Sedona, Arizona, 86336.
