Gerald D. Usher, 66, of Cottonwood, Arizona died August 8. He was born in Gregory, South Dakota on August 29, 1935.

Mr. Usher was an insurance agent. He was a Methodist and belonged to the Rotary Club, the Elks, the Masons, the American Legion and the VFW.

He seved in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Usher leaves his wife of 44 years, Rhea K. Usher; daughters, Kathleen Rae Edwards, Morrill, Neb., Marcy Jo Riviezzo, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Allison Kay Salem, Lincoln, Neb.; sisters, Donna Newton, Pierre, S.D., DeLoris Klipp, Greeley, Colo., Belva Landis, Anthem, Ariz.; brother, Errol Usher, Fort Worth, Tx.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial will be held in Wauneta, Nebraska under the direction of the Liewer Funeral Home.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Verde Valley Senior Citizens Center, P O Box 681, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
