| Margaret Barba Miranda June 13, 2009 Margaret B. Miranda, 70, of Thatcher, AZ, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. Margaret was born May 17, 1939, to Jesus and Jessie Barba in Jerome, AZ. She attended school in Jerome, AZ, until the age of 11, when the family moved to Bisbee, AZ. Margaret later graduated from Bisbee High School. In 1958 she married the love of her life, Robert Miranda, and together they raised four children. In 1976 they moved to Morenci where she worked at Phelps Dodge Mercantile until 2000, when Margaret retired and they moved to Thatcher, AZ. She is survived by her mother Jessie Barba, husband Robert and children Patricia (Edmund), Leticia (Brian), Joseph (Jo Ann), and Aurelia (Frank). Margaret is preceded in death by her father Jesus and sister Aurelia Espinoza She had 11 grandchildren: Jessica, Melissa, Michael, Raymond, Amy, Anthony, Cassandra, Erika, Justine, Frank and Angel, 6 great-grandchildren: Anthony, Elijah, Briseis, Joseph, Jaliyah and Brenden and four step grandchildren: Serinnah, Jordan, Manny and Chris. Margaret was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 9 AM at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church with interment in the Safford Cemetery.
