Aurora Smith

Aurora Smith, 86, passed away Feb. 14, 2009, in Riverside, Calif. She was born Feb. 28, 1922 in Texas.

Aurora was employed at Albertsons from 1972 until 1995. She was a member of Retail Clerks union UFCW Local #1176.

She married her beau of 40 years, Winston L. Smith, in 1992. She will be greatly missed.

Aurora is survived by her six children, Aida Saucedo, Elvia Saucedo, Jane Smith, June Smith, John Smith and James Smith; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston L. Smith, one son, Santiago Muniz and her parents, Juvencia and Pedro Saucedo .

Visitation for Aurora will be Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Grace Assembly, 1809 Navajo, Parker, Ariz. Services will be held Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. at Grace Assembly in Parker. Interment will be at the Town of Parker Cemetery next to her mother, Juvencia.

A memorial service will also be held Feb. 27 at the American Legion, 137 N. Ash, at 6 p.m.
