Published: Arizona Silver Belt - Wednesday, July 1, 2009 11:37 AM CDT Ernie "Lupe" Singh, age 40, passed away at his residence in Miami, on June 24, 2009. He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on September 29, 1968, and resided in Arizona for three years. He worked as a machine operator at C.D.C. Die Casting for 8 years in La Puente, Calif., and was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. He liked being with his brother-in-law Ruben and his nephews and nieces. He loved sports, George Lopez, and listening to music in his van. He especially loved his mom's tortillas. Anytime anyone needed anything he was always there to help. We will always miss our baby brother, and he will remain forever in our hearts. Ernie "Lupe" Singh leaves behind in loving memory: Mom: Socorro Singh of Miami; sisters, Maria Yniguez and her husband Bobby of Globe, and Norma Aguirre and her husband Ruben of La Puente, Calif.; brothers, Jimmy Singh, Jr. of Miami, Danny Singh of Miami, and George Singh and his wife Rosemary of Miami; 18 nieces and nephews, and 14 great nieces and nephews also survive Ernie "Lupe" Singh. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Singh. Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, July 1, 9 a.m., at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 914 Sullivan St., Miami. Rosary will follow at 9:30 a.m., with funeral mass following at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at the Pinal Cemetery in Central Heights Funeral arrangements for Ernie "Lupe" Singh were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami.
