Virginia May Baughman (October 30, 1921 - May 26, 2009) Virginia Baughman, 87, of Tucson and formerly of Snowflake, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at a Tucson nursing center. She was born October 30, 1921, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Charles and Venia (Carroll) Keller. She was raised and attended school in Chicago. She was married to Ellis Baughman, Sr. on December 19, 1950, in Pigget, AR. They lived in the Chicago area before living in Arizona and Montana. They returned to Snowflake in 1983 and she moved to Tucson in 1990. She and her husband enjoyed their years in Snowflake. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of Mission Hills Baptist Church in Tucson. Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Baughman of Tucson; two sons, Ellis (Bobbie) Baughman, Jr. of Tucson and Howard (Cyndy) Baughman of Algonquin, IL; an "adopted" son, Steve Shell of Tucson; a sister, Betty Powell of Tucson; a brother, Charles Keller of New York; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 30, at Snowflake Cemetery. Bio: Black's Mortuary See Also: Find A Grave |
