Born in Frankfort, Indiana on July 30, 1924

Paul Edward Pettay, 77, of Cottonwood died May 7th. He was born July 30, 1924 in Frankfort, Indiana.

He owned his own airplanes and a number of businesses and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 428. For the past 11 years, his two girls, Leisi and Bobby have been his life.

Mr. Pettay was a World War II veteran.

He leaves three daughters, Pauline Tafoya, Leise Ann Pettay and Barbara Rochell Pettay; a son, Michael Pettay; a sister Louise Tolle; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and his former wife, Marcia Mattox.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 17 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 a.m.

A trust fund has been established for his daughters: The Paul E. Pettay REV Trust, c/o Janie E. Rossi, 3785 Busich Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
