Charlayne Brewer (May 1, 1954 - September 23, 2008) Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Charlayne Brewer, age 54, entered into eternal rest September 23, 2008 at her home in Snowflake, AZ. Charlayne was born May 1, 1954 in Snowflake, Arizona to Charles and Kathryn (Willis) Hall. In life Charlayne was very athletic and enjoyed cheerleading. As a child, she met Doug B. Brewer and in 1974 they married in Taylor, AZ. Her family was her life, so much, that she never missed her children's ballgames. She was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and camp. Anything outdoors was a joy to Charlayne. She loved to cook and read but her favorite pastime was crocheting. Many have been blessed to have received quilts, socks and blessing dresses made with love by her. Charlayne was loved by all and will be deeply missed by those that knew her best. She is survived by her husband, Doug B. Brewer of Snowflake; son, Brett (Nicole) Brewer of Snowflake; daughters, Charlee (Ryan) Haueter of Queen Creek, AZ and Becky (Mark) Wilson of Snowflake; 14 grandchildren; loving father, Charles Hall of Taylor; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. She is preceded in death by her mother, Katie Hall and brother, George Hall. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday September 29, 2008 at The Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A visitation will be held Sunday September 28, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel and 1 hour prior to services. Interment to follow in the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. (Obit: Owens Mortuary) See Also: Find A Grave |
