Lucille Frances (Fields) Nichols

Funeral services for Lucille Frances Nichols, 58, who passed away Sunday at the Mt. Graham Community Hospital, were held Wednesday May 7, 1980 at 2:00 P.M. at Caldwell's Chapel of the Valley, with Bishop Verle I. Palmer officiating. Interment followed in the Thatcher Cemetery with the Morning Star Rebekah Lodge #20 officiating. Music was by the Relief Society Chorus with Deanna Damron as organist, and Teresa Draper as Chorister, Opening Hymn, "The Lord Is My Shepard". Closing Hymn "You'll Never Walk Alone".

Innovation was offered by George Battraw, Life Story was given by Kent Woods and Sermon by Bishop Verle I. Palmer, Benediction offered by Gordon Stowell and Dedicatory Prayer by Larry Allred. Casketbearers were Kenny Houtz, Walter Kitson, Harry Simons, Bernie Allred, Buck Gidney and Dan Young. Honorary Bearers Jim, Denton, Cecil Sims, Garland Bull, Oliver Ward, L.T. Walton and John C. Glen.

Mrs. Nichols is survived by her daughter Elda Lou Allred of Thatcher, and 2 grandchildren Denice Louise and Christopher John. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton "Nick" Nichols in May 1979.
