She passed from this life into Heaven on June 7, 2004, in Sun City, Ariz.

She lived in Arizona most of her life except for the years her husband was stationed in Alaska and Florida in the Air Force and then in Utah for a few years while he worked on construction projects.

Howard and Lee have lived in Wittmann since 1996.

She has been a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, a loving friend, valued nurse, a true gift from God. She is already greatly missed and will forever be cherished in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her 16-year-old brother Millard, and 9-year-old daughter Barbara Kay.

A memorial service was held at the family home on June 11, with Pastor Bill Root officiating.

All surviving family members and several long-time friends were in attendance.
