The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, June 23, 2006 Rex A. Cottle, 86, of Prescott, born Sept. 6, 1919, in Preston, Idaho, died June 6, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz. A celebration of Rex's life will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez, Prescott. --------------------- The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, June 23, 2006 Rex A. Cottle, 86, died June 6, 2006, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. Rex was born Sept. 6, 1919, in Preston, Idaho, the son of Abraham and Betty (Newton) Cottle. Rex was a member of the Chino Valley Senior Center. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. Rex was proud of his family and their accomplishments. Rex is survived by his children, Marie Bird, Susan Palmer, Sandra Alder, Gwen Cantwell and Tamera Jerome, all of Utah, Paulette Kish of Placentia, California, Linda Rankin of Glendale, Ariz., Nancy Ferguson of Prescott Valley, and David Cottle of Prescott. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty of 31 loving and caring years. A celebration of Rex's life will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Mumford officiating. A private cremation was held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
