John E. McKamey, Sr., 60, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on June 20, 2006. He was born Nov. 3, 1945, in Geneva, Ill.

John, a loving father, grandfather and family member and friend, will always be remembered as a phenomenal musician, outdoorsman, sprotsman and dog lover.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Christine.

He is survived by his son, John, Jr., his daughters, Cari Megis and Melody Monroe; his brothers, Mike and Dennis Walters; his sister, Cindi Packard; four grandchildren and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 11 a.m., Friday, June 30, at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, Arizona.

Inurnment services will follow at 1 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
