Beverlee Ruth LaMar

Beverlee Ruth LaMar, 75, passed away on Nov. 18 in Phoenix. She was the seventh member of the C.H. and Ila LaMar family that came to Morristown in 1923. She was born in the old Wickenburg Hospital building on West Wickenburg Way, delivered by Dr. Copeland on April 17, 1928. Most of her years were spent in Morristown and Wickenburg. She graduated from Morristown Grammar School and Wickenburg High School. She worked briefly as a secretary - devoting most of her time to family. After her first marriage to "Bud" Haston, she had two sons -

Craig Hastonand Randy Haston-LaMar. Her second husband was Charles Barbee, who is father to Shaun Barbee. She was Christian in her beliefs and attended church as her health and age permitted. She will be greatly missed by those who remain, sons Craig, Randy and Shaun; grandchildren Seana, Lisa and Wayne Haston, and Aimee and Nathan LaMar; sisters Ena and Erwin McGuire of Morristown, and Ila Mae and John Sutherlin of Glendale; brothers Clyde and Ruby LaMar of Goodyear, and Dwight and Marie LaMar of Winslow; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in Morristown, with burial in the Morristown Cemetery, on Saturday, Nov. 27. A reception was held at the McGuire's residence.
