Gerald Irigoyen

Gerard Irigoyen, 36, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in Springerville. He was born Oct. 31, 1972, to Rafael Irigoyen, Sr. and Evelyn Moya.
Gerard worked at Circle K and owned a Gym-Knockout Fitness Center. He was known to everyone as just a "big, nice guy!" He was selfless and kind and would do anything for anyone. He opened Knockout Fitness and was very proud of his gym. He enjoyed being there working out, hanging out and spending time with his boys.

Gerard also enjoyed doing anything that involved his family. He loved his family. He liked watching movies and was an artist.
Gerard loved everyone and everyone loved him. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Rafael and Evelyn Irigoyen, brother Rafael Irigoyen, Jr., sisters, Rosemary Irigoyen and Cristina Irigoyen and grandmother Irene Moya.

Gerard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rafael and Romanita Irigoyen, grandfather Ray Moya and uncle Ricky Moya.

A Rosary was held Friday, April 17, at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Springerville. Funeral Mass was held Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m. also at the church. Interment followed at the Springerville Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
