| Hannah Fern Penrod, 93, died March 14, 2007, in Phoenix. She was born in Clay Springs on Sept. 13, 1913, to William Ezra Goodman and Hannah McNeil Goodman. Penrod is survived by her four children, Idelia (Dean) Seymore of Show Low, Sonny (Velma Kay) Penrod of Queen Creek, Ludean Qualls of Glendale, Joycelen (David) Reed of Glendale; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one sister Buelah Penrod of Shumway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Alma Penrod. Services were held at the Vernon Branch Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints March 19.
