The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Monday, January 20, 2003 Bertha I. Stamper, 92, of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on January 17, 2003. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 23rd, 10:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 1450 E. Fir Street, Cottonwood, Az., 86326. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Church. Courtesy of Pat Wilson. --------------------------------- Bertha Stamper Born in Lawrence, Nebraska on Sep. 10, 1910 Departed on Jan. 17, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Bertha Stamper, 92, of Cottonwood died January 17. She was born September 10, 1910 in Lawrence, Nebraska. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the Clemnceau Museum, was interested in archaelogy conservancy and Alzheimers research. She leaves a sister-in-law, Mrs. Herb Banger, Chino Valley and several nieces and nephews spread throughout the country including Sandy James of Chino Valley. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 23 at the Peace Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church, 1450 E.
