Eunice Krohn Gould passed away July 28, 2006 in Camp Verde, Arizona. She was born June 22, 1913 in Cibola, Arizona, the third child of Albert and Emily (Schmit) Krohn. She was 93.

Eunice leaves sons, Gordon Bradley (Marilyn) and Ronald Bradley (Katherine); both of Cottonwood; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and twenty-three great-great grandchildren.

During her lifetime, she worked at several different occupations including as a bank teller in Blythe, California, owned two apartment houses in Prescott (including the mansion on the corner of Alarcon and Gurley that had been Governor Hunt's home for a time). She worked many summers for the National Park Service, first at Mesa Verde National Park, and then at Estes Park. She loved the outdoors and was active most of her long life. She enjoyed horseback riding and caring for her little dogs, and was a big Scrabble fan.

Eunice was a skilled deer hunter, and took one mountain lion around Willard Springs (south of Flagstaff), circa 1950.

A memorial service will be held Friday August 4, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood.
