Willis Roger 'Slick' Hardin Born in Los Angeles, California on Sept. 25, 1938. Departed on Oct. 17, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Willis Roger 'Slick' Hardin, 65, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away on October 17th, at his home. He was born in Los Angeles, California on September 25, 1938. As a young child, he and his family moved to Winslow, Arizona where he grew up and attended school. He was a retired heating/air conditioning technician and he worked for 20 years on the Salt River Project in Page, Arizona. He also worked for on the Trans Western Gas Pipe Line, the El Paso Gas Line and at the Peabody Coal Mine. Mr. Hardin is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Hardin; his mother, Maxine Hardin Jenkins, Sun City, Ariz.; daughters, Sherrie Crawford, Phoenix, Billie Jo McFarland, Patagonia, Jamie Howell, Flagstaff, Carma Rauls, Texas; sons, Ronald Hardin, Rodger Hardin both of Wash., Jimmie Hardin, Rodney Hardin; sisters, Wyla Hohn, Sun City, Ariz., Sandra Brown, Bakersfield, Calif., Elyse Hardin; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Page, Arizona. Inurnment will follow at the Page Community Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be sent to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326 or to the American Cancer Association.
