Born in Chicago, Illinois on Sept. 6, 1923.
Departed on Nov. 29, 2004 and resided in Cornville, Arizona.

Doraine Odette Lee, resident of Cornville, died November 29 at the age of 81. She was born on September 6, 1923 to Olide and Suzanne Peterson in Chicago, Illinois.

Mrs. Lee attended Mercy School of Nursing and received her nursing degree. She worked at the Community Hospital in Phoenix until she retired. Her hobbies included gardening, any handwork and her interest was volunteer work at the former Marcus J. Lawrence Medical Center.
She belonged to the Cornball Club and Cornville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her husband of 57 years, Guy Lee; daughters, Debra Sias, Cornville, Pam Tjapakes and Susan Clay both of Mich., a brother Donald Peterson, Mich., thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Her parents Olide and Suzanne Peterson and her son Michael Lee preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 3 in the Cornville Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m.

Any memorial donations may be made to the Eden Center Adult Day Care at 401 S. Willard St., Cottonwood.
