| Cleo M. Gardner Born in Arcadia, Kansas on March 1, 1918. Departed on Oct. 21, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Cleo M. Gardner, 86, of Cottonwood died October 21. She was born March 1, 1918 in Arcadia, Kansas. Mrs. Gardner was a retired beautician. She was a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church. She leaves a son, Byron E. Monteith, Clarkdale; sisters Ada Dill and Nellie Dugus, both of Fort Scott, Ks.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A son, Jesse O. Monteith preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 26 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 a.m. A graveside service wil be held on Wednesday, October 27 in the Mountain Meadows Memorial Park in Payson at 1 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mountain View United Methodist Church, 901 S. 12th St., Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326.
