Heritage Funeral Home November 26, 1966 - January 23, 2009 Donald Eugene Amos 42, passed away unexpectedly January 23, 2009 in Gainesville Georgia. Donald was a graduate of West High in Phoenix in 1984 and Wentworth Military Academy in 1986. He was a reservist with the United States Army and was the youngest commissioned Officer at Wentworth Military Academy at that time. Donald enjoyed ownership of his own Satellite business for many years in Alto Georgia. The highlight of his life was when he spent time with his son. Donald enjoyed the outdoors and tinkering with various electronic gadgets. He is survived by his Mother and Step-Father: Rileen and Mark Cornelius of Sun City West, AZ, Father and Step-Mother George and Darcy Amos of Aspers, PA, Grandparents Doris and Laurin Pinz of Sun City AZ, James and Marie Rogers of Corpus Christi TX. His beloved Son: Alexander Paul Amos and an ex-wife Joy Ann Amos both of Gainesville Ga, 3 Brothers & 3 Sisters: Douglas (Teri) Amos of Hanover Pa, Chance Amos, Julie (Tyson) Livelsberger of York Springs PA, Brian (April) Amos of New Oxford PA. Janell (Steven) Pollock of Phoenix AZ, Janiece (Kirk) Cummins, San Diego CA and Pam Weber of Glendale AZ along with 29 nieces and nephews. His Grandmother Gertrude Veronica Rycklynck of Corpus Christi Texas preceded him in death. Donald's great sense of humor and winning smile will be missed.Graveside services will be held on Tuesday March 10,2009 at 11:00 a.m at Sunwest Cemetery 12525 NW Grand Ave, El Mirage, AZ See Also: Find A Grave |
