Born in Owatonna, Minnesota on Sept. 19, 1934.
Departed on Sept. 25, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Clayton D. Selthun, 70, of Cottonwood died September 25. He was born September 19, 1934 in Owatonna, Minnesota.

He graduated from Owatonna, (Minnesota) High School in 1952 and the Devry Technical Institute of Chicago in 1959.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Selthun retired from sales for Sony Corporation. He previously had been an engineer at KWWL-TV in Waterloo, Iowa and WQAD-TV in Moline, Illinois. He was President of the Pine Shadows Residents Association and Vice President of the Faith Lutheran Church Council. He also enjoyed fishing and golf.

Mr. Selthun leaves his wife of 41 years, Janis Selthun; sons Stu and Pam Selthun, Phoenix, Trent and Cecilia Selthun, Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Stephanie and Sal Huesh, Iowa City, Ia.; sister Helen Larson, Owatonna, Minn.; four grandchildren, Abbie, Elena, Zoe and Mesarah and one step-grandson, Bryce Farmer.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 29 in the Faith Lutheran Church at 1 p.m.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 2021 E. Fir St., Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326 or to the International Wolf Center, 1396 Highway 169, Ely Minn., 55731-8129.
