| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 8, 2004, p. B6 Ronald Ralph Alspaugh Sr., 59, passed away Dec. 6, 2004, at his home in Wickenburg, Ariz. Ron was born on Feb. 19, 1945 in Greencastle, Ind. He returned to Wickenburg and the desert he loved from California in 1993, where he was a licensed general contractor and builder. The last position he held in Wickenburg was in maintenance for Bashas' Corporation. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to his friends play guitars, and singing old western music. He was a member of the Elks, American Legion, and Masons. Ron left a loving family, wonderful memories and a memorable sense of humor. He is survived by his wife Valerie of Wickenburg; children Sandra Bennett of Oklahoma and Ronald Alspaugh Jr. of Oklahoma; sister Linda (Ted) Sampson of Indiana; and numerous grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday (Dec. 9) at 11 a.m. at the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cops Who Care. Arrangements were made by Wickenburg Funeral Home.
