Carol G. (Peggy) Flack Flack, Carol G. (Peggy), of Dallas, Texas passed on November 21, 2007. She was born December 24th, 1919 in Dupo, Illinois. Preceded in death by her husband, John A Flack, and her father Thomas Arnold and mother Marjorie Bucklin Arnold, sister Rosemary Arnold and brother Ed Arnold. Peggy Flack was employed by the Amana Corporation in Miami, Florida. Upon the passing of her husband while living in Ocala, Florida, she moved to Tucson, Arizona where for over 20 years she was a volunteer at St. Joseph's hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Cooke and husband Tim, Dallas, Texas, two grandsons in Dallas, Jason Cooke and wife Amy, and Joshua Cooke. She is also survived by her son, James Flack and wife Deborah of Tallahassee, Florida, and three grandchildren, Christopher Flack and wife Janie, Tallahassee Florida, Shannon Brown and husband Shaun, Tampa, Florida, and Meghan Schweiss and husband Russ of San Antonio, Texas, brother Jack Arnold and wife Dorothy of Tucson, Arizona, and five great-grandchildren, Hunter and Julianna Flack of Tallahassee, Aidan and Lily Schweiss of San Antonio, and Jaiden Lee Cooke of Dallas. Peggy also left behind a host of friends and co-workers in Arizona, Florida, Illinois and elsewhere, who, as her family, will greatly miss her. Peggy, who now is in heaven with her beloved husband "Jack", will be missed in her passing, as she was loved here on earth. A memorial mass will be held at a later date at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee, Florida with Internment in Ocala, Florida. The family requests no flowers. However, any gifts in the memory of Peggy Flack may be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Published in the Tucson Newspapers on 11/24/2007. |
