Lillian A. Sanders Campbell, age 82, passed away Jan 16, in Gilbert, Ariz. Funeral services were Friday (Jan 19) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Fr. George Highberger as celebrant. Interment followed in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.

Lillian was born Nov. 4, 1924 in Ada Okla. She was raised there until age 8 when her mother passed away, and she moved to Tampa, Fla., where she was raised by an aunt.

Lillian came to Arizona in 1940. She married Ellwood Sanders and they owned and operated the Bridge Motel here in Wickenburg from 1955 to 1970. She later married John Campbell who owned and operated the Texaco Station for years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church.
Lillian is survived by children Kenneth Bingham (Annette) of Yuma. David Sanders (Gail) of Dallas, Texas, Debra Sanders Yancey (Don) of Mesa; brothers Charlie Guest of Phoenix, Bill Guest of Los Alamitos, Calif., Andy Guest of Georgia; sisters Mary Ernie of Olympia, Wash., Nannie Daughtery of Peoria, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her John Campbell in 2004.
