The Press-Enterprise, Riverside, California Friday, June 19, 1998, page B06 Memorial services for George H. Clayton, 78, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Prescott Community Church in Prescott, Ariz. He died Tuesday at Meadow Park Care Center in Prescott of heart disease. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott is handling arrangements. Mr. Clayton, who was born in Pasadena, lived in Riverside 20 years before moving to Prescott nine years ago. He owned a service station in Riverside for 20 years before retiring in 1982. He enjoyed gardening and watching sports, especially University of Southern California football games. Mr. Clayton is survived by his wife, Wilma; two sons, Dennis of Amarillo, Texas, and Mark of Riverside; a daughter, Cheryl Wiesmann of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Anna Bryan of Prescott Valley, Ariz. The family suggests memorial contributions to YRMC Hospice, Restricted Fund, 322 North Windsong, Prescott Valley, Ariz., 86314. |
