| The Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake City, Utah Sunday, April 19, 1998 Willis Atkinson, age 78, died April 15, 1998 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born April 3, 1920 in Union, Utah to Frank and Laura Sisam Atkinson. He married Mary Rogers. He was a World War II veteran. He loved horses and was a LT officer in the Sheriff's Posse in 1955. He was a brick mason by trade. Survived by his wife, Mary; two brothers, Verl and Harvy Atkinson; five sisters, Thelma Rowland, LaVetta Fuelling, Wilma Wright, Marian Gordan, Carol Nielsen; stepchildren, Dona, Sheila, Kathy and Bob; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister; one stepson. Funeral was in Prescott, Arizona. |
