| Albuquerque Journal, Albuquerque, New Mexico Wednesday, April 15, 1998 Catherine S. Thomas, 81, formerly of Albuquerque, died April 12, 1998 in Prescott, Arizona. She was born March 23, 1918 in New York, NY to Cornilius and Anna (McCarthy) Sheehan. She was born the 11th of 12 children and served Honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. She was active in the Albuquerque Eastern Star and P.E.O. Woman's Organization. She is survived by her husband, David K. Thomas of Prescott, AZ; daughter and son-in-law, Helen Anne Thomas Hood and L. Darrell Hood Sr. of Albuquerque; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Charles K. Thomas and Linda Thomas of Los Angeles, CA. Burial will be in Glendale, CA. No services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Transportation Fund or to Crippled Childrens Hospitals. |
