| The Peoria Journal Star, Peoria, Illinois Sunday, August 2, 1998, page B4 Ruth E. Caulkins, 91, formerly of Peoria, Ill., Prescott, Ariz., and Chetek, Wis., died Tuesday, July 28, 1998, at Capri Nursing Home in Phoenix, where she was a resident. Born Nov. 17, 1906, in Peoria to John W. and Sarah H. Davison Reynolds, she married the Rev. William F. Caulkins. He preceded her in death, as did one son, L. Thad, in 1984. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Reynolds of Prescott and Sara Hornberger of Lake Clark, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She worked with her husband in his ministry in the Methodist faith. She also taught piano and organ lessons. Graveside services were Friday at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
