Joe M. Foulenfont, 89, a resident of Fort Bayard, entered eternal rest Sunday, March 1, 1998 at Fort Bayard Medical Center.

Visitation will began Wednesday, March 4, 1998, 5:00 p.m., at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the Prayers Vigil following at 7:00 p.m. Deacon Johnnie Perez will be officiating. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday morning, 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church in Reserve, with Father Pat Wedeking officiating.

Concluding service and interment will follow at Middle Frisco Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Foulenfont was born March 28, 1908 in Prescott, Arizona to the late John and Josephine McCullough Foulenfont. He retired from the Page Tavern in Page, Arizona that he owned and managed.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Jane Trujillo and her husband, Sam of Silver City; one brother-in-law, Pat Armijo of Socorro; two sisters-in-law, Refugia Foulenfont of Prescott, AZ, Beatrice Foulenfont of Socorro; and by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Candelaria Foulenfont who passed away September 16, 1997.

Pallbearers will be his nephews and honorary pallbearers are Billy Kiehne, Danny Jiron and all his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Gila Regional Medical Center Hospice Program, 1313 32nd Street, Silver City, NM 88061 or the American Cancer Society, Grant County Unit, P.O. Box 1943, Silver City, New Mexico 88062.

Entrusted to the Care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, Hwy. 180 East in Silver City, New Mexico.
