Sarah Lee (Sally) (Stevens) Aycock

Sara Lee (Sally) Aycock, 91, of Phoenix was born Jan. 13, 1918, in Maysville, Okla., and passed away on July 11, 2009.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lou Ella Stevens, brother Hardy Stevens and sister Louise Winters. Surviving are her husband of 71 years, William E. Aycock, 93; sons Donald E. Aycock of Prescott and his significant other, Diane; Stephen C. Aycock and wife Laural; grandchildren Heather, Todd and Julia; and great-grandchildren Tyler, Dylan, Jayme, Quinn and Maddison. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends of the family.

Mrs. Aycock was an executive secretary for many years in the banking industry in Phoenix prior to her retirement.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009, at North Phoenix Baptist Church (Central and Bethany Home). Donations to the Coronado Hospice House at 340 E. Coronado, Phoenix, Ariz., 85004 will be appreciated by the family.
