Gerald Dewayne Bradley, 49, of Safford passed away Wednesday morning July 15, 2009 following a two month long battle with a lung infection.

Gerald was the second child born to George and Dean Bradley, in Morenci, AZ on September 12, 1959. He grew up in Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School in 1979. Gerald moved with his parents to Safford in the summer of 1979. He worked for McDonald's for a few years and then went to work at Wal-Mart where he's worked for the past 19 years. He dearly loved his job, Wal-Mart family, and customers.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents George and Dean Bradley. He is survived by his sister Sheryl ( John) Campbell of Tucson; nieces Jennifer of Colorado Springs and Jessica of Tucson; nephew Jonathan of Tucson, and his aunts Lottie Enrico and Jane Applin of Safford and Margaret (Tom) Sharp of Coleman, TX.

Services will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church in Thatcher at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2009. A viewing will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. preceding the services at the church. Graveside will follow at the Safford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation in Gerald's name to the charity of your choice.
