Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Friday, July 10, 2009 Linda L. Nichols, 66, of Cornville died July 8. She was born September 1, 1942 in Caldwell, Kansas, the daughter of Julian and Thelma Jackson. She attended Mayfield, Kansas schools. Mrs. Nichols was a tireless volunteer for the retired racing greyhounds. She enjoyed gardening,and her beloved greyhounds Scooter, Sadie, Jiggs and Rascal and also her cat Chloe. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John; son, Chuck (Deb), Sumner, Wash.; daughter Chelsea Hollism, Cornville; brother John Jackson (Pat), Mo.; sisters, Anne Gunderson, Caldwell, Ks., Marlene Bedwell, Houston, Tx. and Helen Karlson, Granada Hills, Calif. and five grandchildren.
