Bobby D. Henson, 73, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, born Dec. 23, 1932, in Dixon, Illinois, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz.

Commemoration services in honor of Bobby will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley.

Bobby D. Henson, age 73, passed away on May 23, 2006, in Prescott Valley, Ariz. He was born on December 23, 1932, in Dixon, 111., to Omer Leslie Henson and Minerva Elizabeth (Fordham) Henson.

Bobby was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran as well as being retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Bobby and his wife, Pauline, enjoyed being with the family. Bobby also enjoyed being active in his church.

Bobby was a kind, caring man to his family and friends and never met a stranger. He shared stories with his family and the children in the neighborhood.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pauline A. (Kneavel) Henson, of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; his sons, Michael (Joy) Henson, Jeff (Sue) Henson, Joe (Donna) Tryon, Lee Tryon, Gary (Jeanette) Tryon; and his daughters, Jana (Leroy) Lewis, Julie Jordan and Catharine (Kenny) Morse. Bobby is also survived by three brothers, Buck Henson, Ron Henson, and Jack Henson. He is also survived by three sisters, Irene Jones, Gloria Johnson and Sandy Hall. Bobby was the loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; a great grandson, Alex Rey Amieva; a brother, Lawrence Henson; and his sister, Silvia Childs.

Commemoration services will be held in honor of Bobby at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

The family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Bobby to the Granite Mountain Hospice in Prescott, Ariz., or the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott Valley, Ariz.
