PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Jon M. Yanko, 24, of Prescott, formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday in Prescott.

He was a certified flight instructor for Custom Pilot Service; a graduate of Susquehanna Twp. (Pa.) High School and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University; and a member of Sigma Pi fraternity and St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Penbrook, Pa.

Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Yanko; his father, Gary A. Yanko, and a sister, Caitlin, both of Harrisburg; and his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Yanko, and maternal grandfather, Charles Fisher, both of Harrisburg.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Redwood Memorial Gardens, Dewey.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Yanko Memorial Fund, c/o Arizona State Savings and Credit Union, 550 E. Gurley St., Prescott, Ariz., 86301.
