| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 15, 2002 Florence (Wilkinson) Goodman of Wickenburg passed away on May 12, 2002. She was 85. She was born in Prescott on July 27, 1916, and had lived the past 54 years in Wickenburg, where she raised her family. Safeway Stores in Wickenburg employed Florence for 22 years as a meat wrapper, where she retired in 1978. She also had worked at the old Greyhound Bus Station, Jones Drug Store, and as a nurse's aide at the old Wickenburg Hospital for Dr. Bralliar in years past. Although debilitated by arthritis for the past several years, those closest to her benefited by her "never give up" attitude and her love and devotion to her family. She is survived by her husband off 66 years, Harold; son Harold Allen Goodman and daughter-in-law Cheri of Glendale; grandchildren Michelle Chastain (Tom) of Glendale, Michael Goodman (Dianna) of Sahuarita, and Melissa Goodman of Glendale; and great-grandchildren Jillian and Chelsea Chastain, and Dwight and Blaine Goodman. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (May 18) at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Arrangements were by Frey Funeral Home and Cremation Service. See Also: Find A Grave |
