PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Services for former Shasta County resident Ada Eleanor Lewis, 85, of Prescott, Ariz., will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lawncrest Memorial Park.

Shasta County Sheriff Jim Pope will officiate.

Mrs. Lewis died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

Born March 12, 1914, in Beresford, S.D., she moved to Shasta County in 1944.

She was the owner and operator of Louie's Shoes in Shasta Lake and attended the Redding Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include sons Dan of Shasta Lake and Gary Johnson of Dewey, Ariz.; daughters Gayle Vanderpool of Prescott, Cheryl Hamilton of Sacramento and Marilyn Fannin of Redding; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding, Calif.
