Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 27, 2007 Patricia Jeanette Hancock, 83 passed away on June 24 in Surprise, Ariz. Patricia was delivered by her grandfather (who was a doctor) on April 2, 1924 in Blooming Grove, Texas She attended and graduated from high school in Lancaster, Texas. She moved to Arizona settling in Phoenix in 1943 where during World War II she worked at Giverson Defense making shells for the war. In 1948 she married Jerome Kinchelo Hancock in Phoenix. She became a homemaker, and devoted her time to raising her family. In 1974 after the death of her mother, the family moved to Wickenburg, then in 1996 to Skull Valley. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Wickenburg. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 27) at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 970 N. Tegner Street, with Pastor George Garrick officiating. She is survived by son Kerry N. (JoeAnn) Hancock Sr. of Wickenburg, grandson Neal Hancock, granddaughter Kerstin Baxter, great-grandchildren Rianne, Ronnie, Jordan, Katie, Kenner and Sara all of Chandler, brother William Randolph Patterson of Phoenix.
